Pelion is a mountainous peninsula in Magnesia near Volos, 1.600 meters height. The mountain of Centaurs and summer residence of the Olympian gods, according to the Greek mythology.

The mountains are lush with forests of beech trees, oaks, sycamores, pines, etc. and offers green, snow and streams that flow from winter to spring. Pelion is ideal for tourism all year round, with interesting activities in winter and summer.

We recommend that you ride on the steamtrain route Upper Lehonia - Milies, the ski center of Pelion at Hania, see the folk art museum in the mansion Topali at Makrinitsa with traditional household items and also the mansions in Lechonia.

For summer tourism visit the stunning beaches of Kala Nera, the Buffet, the Pau, the Mylopotamos of Saranda, Saint John and Mary.

The combination of green mountainous landscape with the crystal clear waters of the Aegean give some of the best beaches in Greece.
